Math-A-Thon
The PTA-sponsored Math-A-Thon was developed to encourage students to practice math during the holiday season, and, with the help of friends and family, the children can raise money for our school. Each correct math problem will help fund the purchase of new hardware, software, and other related items for our children to use. We encourage all students to participate regardless of sponsorship. All participating children will be rewarded for their efforts.
Here are important dates for 2007-2008:
December 1 - See Friday Folder for Math-a-thon packet with Sponsor Sheet and Slip of Intent.
December 17 - Slip of Intent due, Tracks 2, 3, & 4.
January 7 - Slip of Intent due, Track 1.January 22 - Completed packet and Sponsor Sheet due, Tracks 1 & 3.
January 28 - Completed packet and Sponsor Sheet due, Tracks 2 & 4.February 21 at 6:30pm - General PTA meeting where all students who participated in the Math-A-Thon will be recognized and awarded.
February 29 - Sponsor money due, Tracks 1, 3, & 4.
March 17 - Sponsor money due, Track 2.
