Art By Me. The “Art By Me” fundraising project has been a very exciting assignment for the students at Salem Elementary. Each child’s piece of art, which has been made into a preview magnet, is sent home in a Friday folder. Please take notice of these wonderful works of art which can be transformed into cards, calendars, mouse pads, paper weights, t-shirts and so much more. This is an excellent way to send a personalized holiday gift from your child to family and friends. Proceeds go to Salem.
The Cary News. The Cary News will send Salem Elementary each quarter a check for 25% of all new subscriptions designated to go to our school. If you are thinking of receiving the Cary News please remember to designate Salem Elementary as your non-profit organization.
Food Lion Shop & Share. Each time you shop at Food Lion and use your MVP card, a portion of your total grocery purchase will be donated to Salem Elementary. You may link your MVP card by completing the MVP customer sign up form and returning it to Salem PTA or by registering on line at www.foodlion.com (click on fundraisers).
Harris Teeter. When you shop at Harris Teeter and use your VIC card, tell your cashier to enter charity number 4114. A percentage of your qualifying purchases will be deposited in the Salem Elementary account. Harris Teeter Brand, H. T. Traders, HT Naturals, Hunter Farms, Premier Selection, More Value, and Highland Crest brand products are eligible.
JJ’S Haircuts. JJ’s Haircuts of Cary located at Maynard Crossing Shopping Center will donate 5% of the cost of your child’s haircut to Salem Elementary. To obtain a donation certificate go to www.jjskidscuts.com and download your certificate.
Kroger Plus Card for Education. This program provides much needed educational equipment for our school. You only have to bring in the Kroger flyer (going home mid-Sept) and have the bar code scanned one time (or have the cashier enter 80150). Then from Sept. through April, every time you shop at Kroger and use your Kroger Plus Card, our school will electronically earn credit toward free educational equipment.
Office Depot 5% Back To School Program. Shop at any Office Depot and designate Salem Elementary as your school of choice. When you purchase participating products 5% of that purchase will be sent to our school as a credit to purchase much needed supplies.
PostNet. PostNet on the corner of Rt. 55 and Jenks Rd. will donate 5% of your purchase to Salem Elementary PTA every time you mention our school.
Sally Foster Gifts. 50% of your purchase goes to Salem Elementary. Also receive free shipping on orders over $60.00. Enter our account number, 675689, when you check out at www.sallyfoster.com. Sally Foster Gifts asks that you place orders by December 12 to ensure arrival by December 25. Our 2007 fundraising event is October 20 - November 3 for product delivery by December 1.
Target Visa Card. Every time you use your Target Visa or Target Guest Card at a Target store or Target.com, Target will donate an amount equal to 1% of your purchase. Target will donate ½% of Target Visa purchases made elsewhere. Simply designate Salem Elementary as your school of choice, to your existing Target Visa card.
Technology4kids.com. Parents and family members can help our school earn classroom technology such as computers, software, and more simply by doing our everyday shopping at Technology4kids merchants. You can earn up to 30 points per transaction for our school. The credits that we earn will be redeemed by our school for classroom technology equipment.
TWIN Heating & Air. TWIN Heating & Air will donate 10% up to $100 per invoice to Salem Elementary's PTA for any work done. Just mention that you are a Salem Elementary family. Call Tom Sosdian at 919-413-1085 for any heating and air conditioning needs.
Winn-Dixie Customer Reward Card. Register your Winn-Dixie Customer Reward Card for our school one time at www.winn-dixie.com/schoolrewards (our school code is 54952) or complete the customer sign up form and return it to Salem PTA. Then from Sept. through March, every time you shop at Winn-Dixie and use your Reward Card, our school will electronically earn credit toward free educational equipment.
