Salem Spring Event, Auction & Raffle
The PTA-sponsored Salem Spring Event, Auction, and Raffle is a themed event that includes family activities, a dinner fundraiser, and an auction and raffle fundraiser.
The 2007-2008 theme was "Broadway Bound" and featured the Fabulous Faculty Follies! A most excellent dinner was provided by Outback Steakhouse, and there were a large number of items and services in the ever popular auction, our biggest one, yet!

The 2006-2007 theme was "The Amazing Race, Salamander Style." Like the popular reality TV show "The Amazing Race," a race around the world, students were given passports to get stamped at each "country" (activity). There were inflatables and a number of other indoor and outdoor activities. Dinner was provided by Outback Steakhouse. There were a large number of items and services in the silent auction.
The 2005-2006 theme was "Country Fair Jamboree." At the Jamboree, events included country fair themed games and a "country fairground" with inflatable slides, obstacle courses, moon bounce, a rock climbing wall, and a train ride. Steak dinners were provided by Outback Steakhouse. There were a large number of items and services in the silent auction.
The 2004-2005 theme was "Salem Health Quest." At Salem Health Quest, events included an obstacle course by My Gym, a BMX bike and safety show, posture analysis by Academy Street Chiropractics, and the Wake County EMS firehouse experience, just to name a few. There were also appearances by characters "Rexie" of Rex Healthcare and "McGruff the Crimedog." Dinner was provided by Outback Steakhouse. There were a large number of items and services in the silent auction.
The 2003-2004 theme was "ArtBlast." We had several arts and crafts stations, games, and a lot of fun. The evening culminated with our first ever silent auction. It was a big hit!
