Update March 21, 2012 - Mission Accomplished!
We had a successful connection with the International Space Station. The contact was covered by both print and tv organizations.

Congratulations to Audrey Porter for her winning mission patch design. All of the patch designs will be made into a quilted wall in the front lobby for all to see. They are all great. Teachers have done a great job of integrating this event into many of their lessons. A live stream of the event from Salem's gymnasium will be found at http://ustream.tv/channel/salemiss

Due to a busy work schedule for the astronauts our time with them is being rescheduled.
International Space Station Expedition XXX
Sometime during the week of March 19th students at Salem will actually be talking live to astronauts on-board the space station. We will post details as we get them. Thank you to Mr. Rice for providing some very interesting links for our students that you can use too.
